Make a plan to love me?

Ugh. What can I say? I gave Cassadaga a listen and I kind of feel cheated. Maybe I'm just one of those Bright Eyes fans...but my favorites are still going to be Fevers and Mirrors and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn. So sue me. As one of my fellow contributors stated, "Dylan was better the first time around." Which is interesting because I'm not a huge Dylan fan (again, so fucking sue me). I just feel as if it's a bit too polished, a bit too much, a wee bit too boring with nothing left to spark any interest or desire. It's kind of all been done before...and by himself. Eh.

Anyway, that's it for Cassadaga. I can give you the following information, though:

Thanks to largehearted boy, I found out that NPR has put up an interview with Conor about the newest release.

And thanks to Pitchfork, we found out that Costco are selling these ridiculous "autographed" guitars, apparently signed by Mr. Oberst himself. You'd just have to check it out for yourself to believe the silliness! Insert random 16 year old girl "teehee"...anywhere.

Season Two of The Henry Rollins Show is set to debut on Friday the 13th at 11p. I'm sure Rollins will have something to say about that. About what, you may ask? Exactly.

Rollins will be addressing the Columbine tragedy with special guest, Marilyn Manson, who will also be speaking about his new album (count me...out). Musical guest? Peaches. What an interesting show. I mean, I know a lot of us here at SS are fans of Mr. Henry Rollins and we really could care less about Manson. He's just there. But when you add Peaches brand of lesbefriendly-electro-rock music into the mix...hilarity will ensue. That's all I'll say. I can't wait to watch.
