tour info. out tha' wazoo

I have quite a bit of tour information for you today. Spring is most definitely here and in full swing, as all the good tours crawl out the woodwork for our pleasure.
Apostle of Hustle, Andrew Whiteman's band that isn't Broken Social Scene, will be headed out on an America/Canada tour, to support their newest release National Anthem of Nowhere. Dates will be played with one of four different bands, including Andrew Bird and Memphis (yet another band including members of Broken Social Scene).

Notice, some of the dates are doubled as AoH will be playing in-store shows at record shops as well as in club venues. Also, check out where AoH will be stopping by, because nearly everynight the supporting band with them may change. I get lucky and have Andrew Bird at the Columbia show.

Another tour to support a new release: The Klaxons, who put out an album more recently than Apostle of Hustle, will begin touring this Sunday in Toronto to support the U.S. release of Myths of the Near Future.

And like any good band from the UK who comes to tour the U.S., they will be ending their U.S. dates with a performance at a great festival. Indio, CA, home of Coachella, will be the final resting place of the Klaxons U.S. tour. After that, they will go home and have big, sexy parties - a.k.a. shows at home in the UK.

4/08/07 Toronto, Ontario - Lee's Palace
4/10/07 New York, NY - Bowery Ballroom
4/11/07 Boston, MA - Great Scott

4/29/07 Indio, CA - Empire Polo Field - COACHELLA

A few of these shows will be played with either Bonde do Role or Soulwax Nite Versions. The Philadelphia, PA show at Transit will have both Bonde do Role and Soulwax Nite Versions.
